I started my career in technology with no prior experience and worked my way into cybersecurity, where I now operate as a SOC Analyst focused on threat detection and investigation.

Today, I work heavily within AWS environments, analyzing alerts, validating suspicious activity, and leveraging services like GuardDuty and CloudTrail to understand how threats interact with cloud infrastructure. My goal is to continue transitioning into cloud security engineering, with a focus on detection and defense.

Cloud Pathway Mentor - DevOps Detroit

Mentored aspiring technologists (ages 18–24) through foundational cloud and security concepts, including AWS, IAM, and threat detection using GuardDuty. Led instruction on core cloud security principles and supported students in preparing for the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.

Community Organizer – Career Development Event

Led the photography component of a community career development event, delivering free professional headshots to 20+ attendees. Contributed to overall event execution and supported individuals transitioning into technology roles by helping them present themselves more effectively in the job market.
